BARBARA MOLINARIO NAMED NEW VARSITY VOLLEYBALL COACH

Welcome Coach Molinario!

Xaverian Brothers High School is excited to announce that Barbara (Basia) Molinario has been named the new varsity volleyball coach. Coach Molinario is joining the Xaverian varsity athletics staff after previously serving as the head coach at Mount Alvernia High School for 10 years, as well as coaching for SMASH volleyball for 12 years.

“We are excited to have Coach Molinario as our new varsity volleyball coach,” says Xaverian’s Athletic Director Ted Currle. “Her experience at Mt. Alvernia and the club circuit will help her to lead our program. We look forward to working with her for many years to come.”

Coach Molinario played volleyball throughout middle and high school, and as an adult has played recreationally in various leagues around the Boston area. Already familiar with Xaverian’s volleyball program as last year’s JV volleyball coach, she says she is looking forward to a competitive varsity season and seeing the players progress in their game.
