The goal of the Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) is to provide an inviting space where all students in grades 7-12, can access an added layer of support before, after, and during the school day. At Xaverian, an example of strength is asking for help and helping others.
Students of all abilities can utilize ACE to complete work, collaborate with peers, and access support. The support at ACE augments the important content help that is available from teachers in the academic centers. The ACE Coordinator works closely with faculty, school counselors, administrators, and families.
ACE offers the following supports:
Individual academic check-ins
Individual and small group academic work sessions and executive function skill development
Drop-in support
Collaborative or independent workspace
Peer tutoring
Skill development may focus on the following areas:
Organization
Prioritization
Keeping track of assignments
Planning and following through with available support from teachers
Time management
Goal setting
Study and test-taking skills
Metacognition
Self-advocacy/communication
Best practices in research and source retrieval in collaboration with the library director

Mrs. Jennifer Sullivan, P '23, P '26, P '26, P '29, holds a M.Ed. in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Emory University. Prior to joining Xaverian, she was a school counselor in the Holliston and Peabody Public School Systems, the Interim Director of Student Services at Beaver Country Day and an internship coordinator at The Education Cooperative. She has held positions as a Section 504 Coordinator, IEP Service Provider and teacher support team facilitator. Mrs. Sullivan is currently pursuing a Certificate in Learning Differences and Neurodiversity with a Specialization in Executive Function through Landmark College.
