On January 15, Xaverian honored 25 student athletes for their commitments to continuing their academic and athletic careers in college. Athletic teams that were represented in this ceremony included football, soccer, cross-country, track, swimming and diving, baseball, and lacrosse. In his opening remarks, Xaverian Athletic Director, Ted Currle, expressed congratulations to the athletes, and gratitude to their parents for their years of support. “These talented individuals have demonstrated not only their athletic prowess, but unwavering commitment to their prospective sports and to their academics,” he said. Mr. Currle went on to acknowledge the good example these students have set for their peers and underclassmen by becoming leaders within the Xaverian community.
