Seven Seniors Named National Merit® Commended Students
Congratulations, Hawks!
Xaverian Brothers High School congratulates seven members of the Class of 2025 who received National Merit® Program Commendations for their high scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). They are part of the top two-thirds of approximately 34,000 high scorers. The following students received Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise:

Speaking on their academic achievements, Dr. Michael Nicholson, Principal notes, “While we are proud of the success of all of our students, these seven young men have distinguished themselves as some of the brightest students in our country. For this accomplishment, we extend our deepest gratitude and congratulations.”
Over 1.3 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which served as an initial screen of program entrants.
