  • Application Form


    You can complete the application form using your Ravenna Admissions Account. The form will collect information on the applicant, family, and current school.
  • Student Essay

     
    The student essay can be completed using your Ravenna Admissions Account.

    The essay allows our admissions committee to learn more about you. It is important to our school that students answer the essay questions without help from other family members. 
  • Entrance Exam


    The HSPT will be offered on the Xaverian campus on Saturday, November 16 and Saturday, December 7. We accept any of the following entrance exams for admission to grade 9: 

    High School Placement Test (HSPT)
    Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT)
    Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)

    If you are taking an exam at another testing location, please use the following codes to send your scores to Xaverian:

  • Official Transcript

     
    Please print a transcript release form using RavennaFill out the form and hand it to your current school's registrar or main office. Your school will send official transcripts directly to our admissions office. Please allow time for processing. 
  • Administrator/Counselor Evaluation


    An administrator/counselor evaluation is a required part of our application process. We ask that your current administrator or counselor completes the form. Please use your Ravenna account to send the form to the appropriate person. Please allow time for processing.

  • Student Interview (Optional)


    Student interviews are optional for grade 9 applicants. 

    Your interview will be conducted by a member of the Xaverian community. Our committee includes teachers, counselors, campus ministers, administrators, and admissions staff. Parents or guardians will have an opportunity to meet with the interviewer at the end of the interview and are encouraged to ask questions at that time.
  • Financial Aid


    All families are welcome to apply for need-based financial aid before the January 15 deadline. We are committed to providing a Xaverian education to every qualified young man, regardless of financial need. 

    Last year, 56% of all Xaverian families received tuition assistance grants. The average annual cost for families receiving need-based financial aid is $14,277.
